POUPANÇA HABITAÇÃO (Home Buyers Savings Plan)

You can receive tax relief if you open a savings account linked to your mortgage. The maximum you pay in per annum is €2,305 in the present tax year which attracts 25% relief, meaning €576.25 is taken off your tax bill at the end of the year. The capital must be used as either a deposit on a new property, to pay off part of the loan or for any work that is needed on the home. This is an excellent tax saving and should form part of basic financial planning for all those who wish to or are already on the property ladder.

PLANO POUPANÇA REFORMA (PPR)

The PPR allows you to make tax savings on contributions up to a maximum of €2,645.64 for a single person and €5,291.28 for a married couple. Please consult us to find how much you can reduce your yearly tax bill by depending on your age and marital status.
